Self-hosting aside, a lot of that reasoning mirrors my own for moving LÖVE. In an alternate universe ecosystem momentum shifted the opposite direction... too bad it wasn't this universe. I hope everything goes smoothly with the move!

makes sense, I've had more than a few times where I *wanted* to contribute a bug fix but the overhead for patches was too much for ~10 lines (Qt... 😬)
